Integrating Technology for 21st Century Learning

Technology plays a critical role in modern education by enhancing instruction and the way we access information and the accessibility of information as well as  increasing engagement, and preparing students for future careers. In my classroom, I will integrate both traditional and cutting-edge tools to support diverse learning styles to cater towards my student and the way they process information.

Traditional Tools i use :

  • PowerPoint
  • Document cameras
  • Educational videos
  • Word processing software

Cutting-Edge Tools:

  • Virtual reality field trips
  • Interactive whiteboards
  • Learning management systems
  • Google Classroom
  • Kahoot quizzes
  • AI-based tutoring tools

Evaluation of Technology:

I will assess technology effectiveness by:

  • Monitoring student engagement
  • Reviewing academic performance
  • Gathering student feedback
  • Tracking digital assignment completion
  • Adjusting tools based on learning outcomes

Technology should enhance—not replace—quality teaching. When used strategically, it promotes collaboration, personalization, and innovation.
